Both the P100-O and P101-O models are part of AMF’s Industrial Programmable Syringe Pump (SPM) series, designed to deliver high-precision, automated liquid handling solutions. These devices are tailored for applications demanding accurate fluidic control with zero dead volume, which minimizes sample loss and ensures precise and reliable sample management.
The P100-O and P101-O models both incorporate AMF’s advanced microfluidic technology to support a range of applications, from analytical testing to industrial processes. They are engineered with a focus on reducing carryover, ensuring minimal cross-contamination, and providing flexibility through customizable configurations and syringe sizes.
As versatile solutions within AMF’s product lineup, the P100-O and P101-O allow users to select the ideal dispenser based on their specific volume requirements and application needs. Whether for high-sensitivity testing or larger-volume industrial applications, these models offer a robust platform for seamless fluidic management.
The dimensions of the P100-O and P101-O Sequential Microdispensers reflect their compact yet robust design, optimized for integration into various automated systems.

Chemical compatibility The wetted materials being PTFE, PCTFE and borosilicate glass, this pump offers an exceptional compatibility to most chemicals and biological samples.
The above specifications are typical for our components and may vary due to multiple parameters / factors (e.g. fluid type, usage conditions…). Specifications are subject to change.
Optional:
It is possible to add a heating/cooling module around the syringe to suit your specific application.
The P100-O and P101-O models share many features but have specific differences that cater to distinct application needs. Here’s an in-depth look at the critical differences between these two Industrial Programmable Syringe Pumps models:
If you currently own an SPM P100-O but require higher syringe capacity for your application, you can upgrade your unit to a P101-O. This process involves sending your SPM P100-O to AMF, where our technicians will make the necessary adjustments to accommodate the larger syringe sizes.
Key modifications include reworking the valve to ensure compatibility with the 2.5 mL and 5 mL syringe options, as well as any adjustments in the module’s dimensions and internal structure to support the enhanced volume capacity. This upgrade is available at a cost and will require time for reconfiguration, but it is a feasible option for users looking to expand the functionality of their existing device without purchasing a new unit.
Similarly, it’s possible to convert an SPM P101-O to a P100-O if you find that your application requires smaller syringe sizes and lower carryover. This conversion also requires sending the unit back to AMF for adjustments. The process will involve reconfiguring the valve to support the smaller syringes (ranging from 50 µL to 1 mL) and resizing internal components as necessary to ensure compatibility and optimized performance for lower volume dispensing.
As with the P100-O to P101-O transformation, this conversion is offered at a cost and will involve some processing time. Please reach out to AMF’s support team to discuss specific requirements and arrange for the modification services.
Both the P100-O and P101-O models within the AMF Sequential Microdispenser series provide adaptable, high-precision solutions for various liquid handling needs. Whether you prioritize ultra-low carryover and small volume dispensing with the P100-O, or require the high-volume capabilities of the P101-O, AMF has you covered.
If you’re interested in upgrading or adapting your current unit to meet changing requirements, AMF offers flexible modification services. Our team is ready to assist with transitions between models, enabling you to optimize your system without the need to invest in entirely new equipment.
