Maximilien is a sales expansion and business development expert, with more than 10 years’ experience in disruptive microfluidic technologies commercialization and startup development. Prior to becoming the CEO of Advanced Microfluidic SA, he served for more than 7 years as an International Sales Manager, driving rapid market expansion worldwide focusing especially on the Asia and USA markets. Maximilien graduated from Sup’Biotech as an expert in genome engineering for diagnostic and pharmaceutical application.
Rémy has more than 8 years’ experience in both microfluidics R&D engineering and product management & development. Rémy graduated from the prestigious EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) with a master’s degree in the field of microengineering, which included a minor degree in Biomedical Technologies. He specialised in Robotics and Autonomous Systems and received a double diploma from CentraleSupélec & EPFL.
Matthieu completed his MSc in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Engineering at EPFL in 2022 with a biomedical technologies minor. He is also the 2022 winner of the reputable OMEGA student award, thanks to his master’s thesis completed with SEED Biosciences. Matthieu joined us in 2022 for an internship with the R&D dept and is now a valued full-time R&D engineer, working closely with Rémy to fine-tune custom projects and further our innovative scope.
Graduated from EPFL, Clément joined Advanced Microfluidics as an R&D Engineer, bringing a fresh and up-to-date background in robotics, automation, and mechatronic systems. As a proactive student, he worked on advanced applications in neural engineering and biomechanics, and gained hands-on experience developing laboratory instruments at bNovate Technologies. Clément’s passion for precision engineering and problem-solving fuels his contribution to AMF’s next-generation microfluidic solutions.
Nicolas joined Advanced Microfluidics as an Innovation Engineer, bringing over 15 years of experience in R&D, process engineering, and advanced product development in the medical device and sensor industries. A graduate of EPFL with a Master’s degree in Microengineering, he has built a career at the intersection of electronics, mechanics, and automation. From developing sensors for extreme environments to designing automated systems and manufacturing tools for medical devices, Nicolas has consistently delivered high-impact solutions. Known for his hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset, he combines technical depth with practical innovation. His multidisciplinary expertise and creativity contribute directly to AMF’s mission of pushing the boundaries of precision microfluidic systems.
Tristan Bolmont brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of neuroscience, biotech innovation, and global business development. As Head of Sales at Advanced Microfluidics, he leads international growth efforts by combining deep scientific knowledge with strategic commercial expertise. Tristan holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Basel and has built a career that spans academic research, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Known for his ability to translate complex technologies into market-ready solutions, Tristan excels at forging strong customer partnerships and driving value across diverse industries. Katrin joined Advanced Microfluidics as Technical Sales Solution Manager, bringing a strong combination of engineering expertise, product strategy, and customer-oriented sales experience. With a double Master’s degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and Brno University of Technology, she has worked across Europe in highly technical, innovation-driven environments. Driven by curiosity and precision, Katrin excels at bridging technical complexity with market needs. Christophe has more than 10 years’ experience in Marketing & Sales. He graduated from Supbiotech Paris as a Biotech Engineer and began his career as an academic researcher in Cancer Immunology. Christophe gained his first sales experience in microfluidics at Fluigent in Paris. He pursued his thirst for promoting and selling innovative Molecular Biology IVD products and services at Eurofins Biomnis and Appolon Bioteck in Lyon. Christophe joined bioMerieux in 2018 and was involved in the success of the BioFire Automated and Point of Care PCR tests both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nathan has a strong background in marketing and digital strategy. He studied biotechnology at SupBiotech, where he also focused on marketing. With over 10 years of experience in both agencies and companies, he knows how to build and run effective marketing campaigns. His skills include copywriting, SEO, online ads (SEA), marketing automation, direct marketing, and more.
Alexandre has more than 6 years’ experience in research and development, production, industrialization of products and strategy consulting in optical, watchmaking and electromechanical industries. Alexandre graduated from EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) with a master’s degree in the field of microengineering (robotics & artificial intelligence) and holds a Master in Business and Administration (MBA) from IMD Business School.
Alexandre is now part of our team as a Production Coordinator & Technician in Industrial Management. His skills in managing and optimizing production processes are key to our operations. Alexandre’s role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our microfluidic devices, contributing significantly to our overall product quality and reliability.
With over 10 years of experience, Martin is a master in precision manufacturing. He specializes in producing high-quality valves for AMF, employing advanced techniques such as CNC 5-axis machining. His strong dedication to mechanical processes, along with his exceptional attention to detail and precision craftsmanship, ensures that we consistently produce the best microfluidic solutions.
Chantal joined Advanced Microfluidics as a Production Operator, bringing over 16 years of hands-on experience in precision assembly and microtechnology. With a certification in microtechnique from Insertec, she is skilled in meticulous assembly processes, quality control, and production optimization. Chantal’s attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high production standards are key assets to AMF’s manufacturing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality microfluidic components.
Madeleine has 7 years’ experience in a variety of sectors with administrative and bookkeeping support and management, and as a certified Agile scrum master she is well positioned to facilitate a variety of internal processes. Our resident “happiness manager”, Madeleine also works hard to promote and centralise office harmony. With a BA in East Asian Studies from the University of Manchester, Madeleine has lived in 3 continents and speaks 3 languages.
Tania joined Advanced Microfluidics as an Administrative Assistant, bringing a dynamic background that blends creative design, customer service, and organizational support. With a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from HES-SO, they have developed a strong eye for detail and a structured approach to managing day-to-day operations.
