Control AMF pumps and valves from one interface. Build fluidic workflows without writing control software.
AMF Control Center is a Windows application for operating AMF syringe pumps and rotary valves. Use it to control an individual instrument, or connect multiple AMF components to build and run step-by-step fluidic sequences.

Some experiments need a quick adjustment to a pump or valve. Others require several instruments to work together in a defined order. AMF Control Center provides both approaches in one application.
In the Instrument view, detect connected devices, adjust pump and valve settings, send commands and review the logs. In the Sequence view, arrange actions into a workflow, check the sequence and run it.
The software supports AMF LSPone and SPM syringe pumps, as well as RVM and RVM mini rotary valves. The full version can connect up to six AMF instruments.
Connect your AMF instruments, select their COM ports and detect them in the application. Each connected product has its own control card, so you can see its configuration and operate it directly.
Depending on the instrument, you can set pump speed or flow rate, move the syringe plunger, select a valve port and send commands. You can also save instrument presets and review messages in the log when checking a setup.
Useful for: instrument setup, manual operation, testing a fluidic circuit and adjusting an experiment.
The Sequence view lets you turn a procedure into a series of actions. You can select which instrument performs each step, then combine pump movements and valve switching with waits, loops and other sequence actions.
For example, a sequence could select a reagent with a rotary valve, draw a defined volume with a syringe pump, switch to another port and dispense the liquid. Save the workflow to run or adapt it later.
Before running a sequence, use Build to check it. The application simulates the steps and reports issues such as an invalid valve port, an out-of-range value or a syringe movement beyond its available stroke. These checks help you review a workflow before sending commands to the instruments.
You may already know the order of your experiment: select a reagent, aspirate a volume, switch ports, dispense, wait and repeat. With an example sequence as a reference, an external AI assistant can turn that description into a first draft of a Control Center workflow.
Open the file in AMF Control Center to see every action, adjust the parameters and use Build to check the sequence against your connected instruments. You stay in control of the final protocol before running it.
Sequences can be saved as files and shared with colleagues. AMF Control Center also lets you export a sequence as a Python script using the AMF Python SDK.
This gives developers a starting point when an experiment later needs code for tasks outside the software, such as adding a camera trigger or processing data in a larger application. Python is optional for building and running sequences within AMF Control Center.

Answers to common questions about installation, compatible instruments and Premium access.
The Trial version lets you connect and control one AMF instrument, adjust its settings and update compatible firmware. You can install it without an activation key.
Premium lets you connect up to six AMF instruments and use the Sequence view to build, check, run, save and export fluidic workflows.
Premium is included with a new LSPone purchase. For other instruments or existing setups, please contact AMF for the licence option and price that apply to your project.
AMF Control Center supports the LSPone and SPM pump series, and the RVM and RVM mini rotary valve series. Check the user guide for firmware and connection requirements.
No. You can control instruments and build sequences in the graphical interface. If you want to extend a workflow in your own application, you can export a sequence to Python.
No. You can use an external AI assistant and an example sequence to draft a workflow file. Open it in AMF Control Center, review the steps and use Build to check the sequence before running it.
